Remote teams
A distributed team doesn't need the same hours. It needs a few predictable hours together and a clear view of who's available the rest of the time.
Most teams do well with 2–4 shared hours on working days. That's enough for a daily check-in, quick questions, and handoffs. Everything else can happen asynchronously.
Less than an hour of overlap is workable for teams that hand work across the day, like support or follow-the-sun engineering, as long as handoffs are written down. Zero overlap means someone regularly works early or late, so rotate who that is.
With 9 AM–5 PM on both sides and today's daylight saving rules. Open a row for every time zone in each country.

Not every team works Monday to Friday. Israel works Sunday to Thursday, for example, so a US–Israel team only shares four weekdays. Public holidays rarely line up between countries, which is when “is my team available?” becomes a real question. Track holidays per city so a missing reply isn't a surprise.
